Mark Tuttle

Mark Tuttle Hi, I’m Mark Tuttle, and I am a Member-At-Large and currently Chairperson of the Parish Pastoral Council.  My wife Kathy and I have been members of St. Edith Parish for about 10 years.  We also have 3 sons, two who live in Livonia and are also members of St. Edith.  Our oldest son, his wife and our first grandchild live in the Denver area.  When I speak with people about St. Edith Parish, there are a couple topics that I always bring up, Everyone is Welcome at St. Edith and Music!!  A driving force behind everything we do on Parish Council is our motto “All are Welcome”!!!  It is so great to see new faces every week, seeing our Welcoming Committee members greeting people, and just noticing the joy on their faces as they join our Parish Family in celebration.  Secondly, I love our Music Ministry.  I really enjoy coming early to Mass and listen to them practicing, and then hear them lead us during Mass, it is just amazing. Heather leads a great ministry, and it really creates a great energy to our parish!   Being a part of our Parish Council is rewarding especially due to the group of people we have on the Council.  The energy and ideas make each meeting rewarding and increases my faith and love for our Parish Family.  I am proud to serve our Parish with this group of people. My family and I normally go to the 5:00pm Saturday Mass.   If you would like to discuss anything about the parish, please feel free to contact me at 313-919-1495.  Thank you and God Bless!!
