For this week's Lenten Soup Supper, we will be participating in the Pope Francis Family of Parishes Lenten Retreat and Time of Reflection

The Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus with Father Pat Brennan, CP, will be held on three consecutive evenings during Lent. Lenten Reflection Jesus on the cross and Jesus being resurected
Evening talks begin at 7pm, Soup Dinner begins at 6:30 pm.

Fr. Pat Brennan from St. Paul of the Cross will be the Retreat Leader. He will center his talks around The Last Supper; The Suffering, Passion and Death; and The Tomb to Resurrection Joy

Fr. Pat states, "It is my hope to share insights into the most profound time in the life of Christ, the events leading up to his sacred Passion, Death, and Resurrection. Within these three profound moments, all of us as disciples and men and women of faith, are invited to witness and reflect upon some of the great gifts we can receive during the Triduum."

“Using the Triduum as a format, we’ll explore the very special gifts bequeathed to us by the Lord in these final events of his life. They are graces that help us to grow in our Christian faith, as well as in our participation in the sacramental and spiritual life of the Church."

2026-27 Tuition Rates

    & Re-Enrollment

If you have not done so, please fill out your re-enrollment for next year. You do not need to attach the files for baptism, first communion, etc. Those forms are only required for new students. You do not need to make a new account on FACTS. In fact, please do not make a new account. After logging in, click on the "Apply/Enroll" located on the left side, and then “Enrollment/Re-enrollment”. There is an enrollment fee of $11 from FACTS per child. Last year it was rolled into tuition, however, this year FACTS is doing this on the front end. Completing enrollment early helps St. Edith Catholic School with budgeting purposes for the following school year, so we encourage you to do so. Currently 45% of our families have responded.

The tuition rates for the 2026-27 school year are located here. The new rates were discussed with Father Jim and the Parish Finance Council several times until they were approved.

  • Preschool, Kindergarten Prep, 1 Child, and Out of Parish were given a 5% increase.
  • Multi-child family rates stayed the same as the 2025-26 rates.
  • A $200 per student safety and security fee, with a $400 cap per PK-8 family.
  • Registration/technology fee stayed the same, $300 per student with a cap of $900 per PK-8 family.

We tried to keep our tuition rates within a couple hundred dollars of St. Michael, which is why some tuition rates went up and others did not.

The registration/technology fee and safety/security fee are mandatory. However, they will NOT be taken out via FACTS at least until March, if not later. We will make sure to let you know with ample notice.

Even if you think you may not qualify, we encourage you to apply for tuition assistance.  Tuition Assistance & Scholarships - Archdiocese of Detroit  Applications are open and the paperwork is due February 27th. There are also scholarships available through Scholarships | Alliance Catholic Foundation

We do not want the gift of Catholic education to be out of reach. If you are experiencing hardship, please talk to Jackie Slaverioor to Ruth Scaramucci, and they can see what we can do in terms of payment plans, deferred payment, etc.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the School Office (734) 464-1250.
