CSA Appeal

We are beginning our annual Catholic Services Appeal (CSA). The theme for this year’s appeal is "Opening Doors to Encounter Christ." Our parish’s target is $115,024, a decrease of $10,739 from last year’s target. This is due to a change in the way the parish targets are calculated. I think this is the first time in history that our target has ever gone down! I am hoping that St. Edith parishioners will continue to see CSA as a means to further the work of the Church in the Archdiocese of Detroit and to support our own parish. Every dollar over our target comes back to us. CSA refunds are not taxed by the diocese like our other income.

You may bring your gift or pledge with you to church on the weekend of May 13th and 14th or May 20th and 21st for the collection. You can also mail your gift to the Parish Office.

New this year! You can also give on line. If you would like to exercise this option, please visit our web site at http://stedith.aodcsa.orgImportant note! You will need to set up a new online giving account for CSA even if you have already set up an online giving account for St. Edith! Your St. Edith online giving login will not work for the CSA online giving program.

Please prayerfully consider contributing to this important appeal.

Love and Peace,

Fr. Jim

St. Edith School Scrip Program

SCRIP fundraising is a no-selling program that enables families to raise money for St. Edith School. Scrip is just another way to pay for everyday purchases using gift cards in place of cash, checks, and credit cards. You purchase gift cards - either a physical card or an electronic e-card that can be used instantly, from St. Edith School at face value and St. Edith orders those cards from Great Lakes Scrip Center at a reduced price. The difference is a rebate, split 50/50 between you and St Edith school. It’s really that simple!

Your orders can be dropped off at the school office or the parish office - please write your name and "SCRIP" on your order envelope. Please fill in the customer # with your phone number. You will be contacted to make arrangements for pickup. Orders can be paid by cash or check (payable to "St Edith").
All orders turned in by 3pm on Tuesday will be filled that Friday; orders turned in after 3pm on Tuesday will be filled the following Friday.

Remember Kohl's SCRIP cards can be used to make payments on Kohl's Credit Cards.
