DivorceCare helps you recover from the pain of separation and divorce. DivorceCare groups are led by people who have been through divorce and successfully rebuilt their lives. The DivorceCare group meets weekly. You'll find it to be a warm, caring environment and will come to see your group as an "oasis" in an otherwise difficult season of life. There are three key parts to your DivorceCare experience:
- Video Seminar - Encouraging and information-packed videos featuring leading divorce recovery experts
- Support Group - Small group discussion about the weekly video content and the issues faced by the individual group members
- Workbook - Journaling and personal study exercises that reinforce the weekly session topics
These sessions are designed to help people who have experienced the pain of divorce to begin the journey of healing. Divorce is one of the most painful experiences you can face. There are many emotions and challenges it brings, please know that you do not have to go through this alone. DivorceCare offers support, answers, and practical tools to help you manage the stresses and to find healing. The first meeting will begin at 6:30pm in the A/V Room. There is a $15 fee for the workbook. (Scholarships are available.) This may be paid online with registration or on the first day of class.
