Evangelization/Welcoming/Hospitality Commission

When we experience something very exciting, or meaningful in our life we want to share it with others! Our faith in Jesus is something very exciting and meaningful and "evangelization" is a word that describes talking about our faith and relationship with Jesus to other people. Every Christian can do this, irregardless of personality. Getting the ball rolling sometimes, though, takes a little help.

The Evangelization Commission is a group of parishioners who get together to give that help and to respond to Jesus' words in Matthew 28:19, "Go and make disciples of all nations." Our goal is to support the St. Edith community to experience a deeper, more personal relationship with Jesus, to experience the fullness of living that out in community and become comfortable in sharing that relationship with others. We hope to give enthusiasm to others in their living out their faith in Jesus Christ. We, also, want to communicate to the greater community that "ALL ARE WELCOME HERE!"

The Evangelization Commission meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 7 p.m., September thru May in the Fireside Room in the Parish Office.
