The RCIA is the process by which a person becomes Catholic. The RCIA journey is informational as well as experiential. The basic beliefs of the Catholic Faith are explored and discussed. There are also opportunities for Christian Service. If you are interested in finding out how to become part of the process, please call the Parish Office at (734) 464-1222. Catholics who wish to learn more about their faith are also invited.
Please hold our Elect in prayer as they journey to the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. Also remember our candidates who are already baptized, but will be making a profession of faith, as well as celebrating the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist. Of course, our RCIA catechists can also use a prayer!

The Church's teaching about the Sacrament of the Sick is that it should not be delayed until "the last moment." It is meant to be celebrated when the person being anointed can appreciate the prayers and consolation being offered by those who have gathered. Should someone be sick, or preparing for surgery and would like to be anointed, if at all possible, please contact us before entering the hospital.
