Blanket Making for Prospective Ladywood Students
All prospective Blazers, grades 6-8 are invited to this night of fun! Join the Ladywood High School Student Council as we make fleece blankets, decorate cookies, and listen to Christmas Music. This fun night will take place on December 15 from 6-8 pm in the Mother DeSales Activity Center. The fleece blankets that are made will be donated to the charity Fleece & Thank You. Fleece & Thank You's mission is to provide comfort and hope to children battling illnessby giving donors the unique opportunity to create a fleece blanket and a cherished video message of support and encouragement. Bereavement Workshop - Children’s Holiday Workshop
Angela Hospice is offernig a holiday bereavement workshop “Children’s Holiday Workshop (ages 5-12)” on Sunday, December 3rd from 2-4 PM. During this workshop, children will have the opportunity to make a meaningful holiday wreath in memory of their deceased loved one. For more information contact Debbie Vallandingham at (734) 464-2683. Individual and group bereavement counseling services are available free of charge at Angela Hospice all year long. Your deceased loved one did not have to receive hospice care in order for these services to be available to you.
