A Weekend of Discovery, a Lifetime of Love

Worldwide Marriage Encounter is a weekend for married Christian couples who value their relationship and desire a richer, fuller life together.  Couples will learn the tools needed to keep their marriage strong.  The emphasis of the weekend is on communication between husband and wife, who spend a weekend together away from the distractions and the tensions of everyday life, to concentrate on each other.  It’s not a retreat, nor a marriage clinic, nor group sensitivity.  It’s a unique approach aimed at revitalizing Christian Marriage. Reserve your weekend get-away today! For information and registration call 888-322-9963 or visit

2019 Weekend Dates: August 16-18 (Petoskey, MI), August 23-25 (Farmington, MI), September 27-29 (Troy, MI), November 15-17 (Adrian, MI)

Journey Through the Bible

Ever wonder about the Biblical roots of our Catholic faith? Wish you knew more about the Bible? Start your journey through the Bible this September with the Catholic Biblical School of Michigan (CBSM)’s Wed 7-9 pm Class at Holy Family in Novi.

CBSM brings Scripture to life with an in-depth study of the entire Bible led by seminary professors, so that we can Unleash the Gospel with confidence and joy! Through donations, CBSM is accessible to all with 100% of requests for financial aid granted. Learn more by attending an Information Session either July 30, or Aug 21--each held at 7 pm at Holy Family in Novi. For more information contact: or or 586-438-3085.

First Friday Vigil

Jesus has asked His people to keep First Friday as reparation to His Sacred Heart, and First Saturday is a devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary per her request. In the northwest suburbs we have a 24 hour prayer Vigil, with 24 hours of Eucharistic Adoration. Adoration begins at 10 am Friday after the 9:15 am Mass. Evening Mass is at 7pm with confessions before and after Mass. The Reparation Prayer Vigil begins after the 7 pm Mass. Saturday morning Benediction with Reposition at 9 am followed by Mass for Life at 9:15 am. All are welcomed. St. Genevieve Church, 29015 Jamison Street, Livonia, 48150.

Leisure Club at St. Colette

The Leisure Club at St. Colette meets the first Thursday of the month at St. Colette in the Social Area of the Church to play games/cards and enjoy lunch (everyone brings their own). A variety of games are played and it has been recently suggested that Euchre and Pinochle might be added if there are enough people to play. Bring a game that interests you or join a game that is already available. Stop in anytime from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. We look forward to meeting you. If you have any questions, please call Nancy at 734-464-4436.
