Knights of Columbus

If you are a man and can spare a minimum of 12 hours a year you are invited to join the St. Edith's Knight of Columbus.

What the Knights of Columbus Do

The Knights raise money for charities.  We've make donations to:

  • Angel's Place
  • Special Olympics of Michigan
  • Seminarian educational expenses
  • AAA Crisis Pregnancy Center
  • Miracle League of Michigan
  • Catholic League Track
  • Christmas in the Philippines
  • St. Edith Parish Youth Group
  • St. Christine's Soup Kitchen
  • American Wheel chair Mission
  • Samaritan's Purse
  • Society of St. Vincent DePaul
  • St. Edith Christian Service
  • Wounded Warrior Project
  • Catholic Cross Country
  • Holy Cross Children's Services
  • Coats for Kids
  • St. Edith School
  • Alpha Program
  • And many other worthy causes

The Knights raise money for our parish. Some of the things we've contributed to or completely funded:

  • The purchase of a new sound system for the church
  • The purchase of automatic door openers
  • Copy machines for the school
  • Music Number Boards
  • Rediscover Jesus Books for all parishioners
  • Rediscover Catholicism for all parishioners
  • Patio, BBQ and Picnic tables by the Parish Office

Our members have:

  • Installed the walkway around gazebo
  • Served meals at St. Christine's Soup Kitchen
  • Cooked food at Parish BBQ's and Picnics
  • Sponsored the Mother's Day Breakfast
  • Assisted in painting the Church
  • Served as Eucharistic Ministers, Lecturers, Ushers, Choir Members, Youth Minister, Parish Council, Christian Service,  Multiple Committees, CYO and more
  • Served at the Advent Tea

We gather together as one big family at Parish and Council events alike. We are a close knit group of men and their families.

We welcome new members at any time!
