Description:

EASTER OUTREACH FOOD COLLECTION

Beginning the weekend of March 9th and running through the weekend of April 6th the Drop Box will be in the Gathering Area when you come to Mass to drop off any non-perishable items you would like to donate for our Easter Outreach.  We provide our families with everything for a traditional Easter dinner, as well as extra food to carry them through in these tough economic times.

Please donate the type of items you normally would donate for a “regular” Pantry Weekend (canned fruits and veggies, canned tuna or chicken, canned stews, boxed potatoes, mac and cheese, canned soups, etc.) as well as bags of Easter candy.  We have families with small children and the Easter Bunny needs to be able to deliver the goods!

If you would like to donate a ham, or money we can use to purchase hams and other perishable items that would be fantastic!  Donations can be made by cash or check.  If you write a check simply make it out to St. Edith Church with “Easter Outreach” written on the Memo line and we will know that the funds are meant for Outreach.

If you forget to drop food items off when you come to Mass, you may do so during the week by dropping them off to the Gathering Area (I check the area every morning) or to the Christian Service Office, up through Wednesday, April 10th

Thank you in advance for supporting our Easter Outreach!
