A New Dawn

"A New Dawn" is a social group made up of widows and widowers. This is a social and support group who meet at St. Edith Parish Hall the third Wednesday of every month for food and fellowship. The group also goes on many "excursions", ranging from an evening out to dinner to short trips out of town. Check out our schedule.

The Harmony Group

A senior citizen gathering meeting each Tuesday morning at 10:30 am in the Parish A/V Room. The group is primarily social in nature. If you plan on staying to play cards bring a bag lunch!

Participate in helping others during need by helping with funerals and weddings or visiting people who are homebound, at nursing homes or in the hospital.

Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS)

The MOPS group provides an open, Christian atmosphere where specific and significant needs of today's preschool mothers are met, and which says, "you belong!" Coordinated for moms by moms, MOPS gives mothers opportunities to develop meaningful friendships with each other. In these friendships, moms find answers for their simple, everyday dilemmas and discover a safe place to explore and discuss life's situations. MOPS help moms and MOPS makes a difference in the lives of families.

Pro-Life Committee

The Pro-Life Committee sponsors three fundraising activities each year for this very important ministry. Christmas cards are sold in December, a Baby Shower is held in late winter/early spring and flowers are sold on Mother's Day. Please consider assisting in any of these activities!

Cub Scouts
Pack 1384 welcomes boys from first through fifth grade to participate in many exciting events including: Pinewood Derby, D-A camping, and many other exciting Scouting activities. We are a growing pack that encourages parent participation and leadership at all levels.
 

Girl ScoutsOur Junior Girl Scout troop is open to girls in 4th-6th grades. We meet 1-2 Thursdays a month from 3-4:30pm in the church hall. There are also optional field trips so girls can pick and choose what activities they want to participate in.
