This year for Lent we will be doing a special collection of items (or in one case, money) for a different organization every weekend. You may choose to participate in as many of them as you would like!

March 9 - 10, The Wee Care/RTL Baby Shower:

  • This is a collection of new or very gently used baby items (clothing, diapers, car seats, etc.) 
    This collection will benefit Wee Care/Right to Life—Lifespan baby shop in Livonia. They do mainly emergency help for families.  New or gently used baby clothing, infant car seats, diapers, etc. will be collected this weekend.

March 16 - 17, Lighthouse Mission

  • Napkins, paper plates, plastic forks and spoons, styrofoam cups, & plastic cups

March 23 - 24, Seedlings Braille Books for Children

  • Monetary collection to help provide books for blind children

March 30 - 31, Loaves & Fishes Of SW Detroit 

  • Paper towel, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, deodorant, bar type bath soap

April 6 - 7, Vista Maria 

  • Girls new blue jeans sizes 0 to 22/24,  new spring/summer type pajamas sizes XS-2XL, hygiene items (any and all)

April 13 - 14, Lighthouse Mission

  • New white athletic socks for their shelter
